During my time at Tervis, I managed the “Build Your Own Tumbler” project for the retail stores division. The project goal:
- Sell more lids, handles and straws by letting the customer choose their own accessories to go with any tumbler.
Project Milestones:
- Create new item numbers for all tumblers that currently come with a lid included.
- Remove all lids from tumblers currently at 45 stores.
- Re-label all tumblers currently at 45 stores.
- Update on-hand inventory at 45 stores to reflect the new “no lid” item numbers and to show the loose lid on-hand separately.
- Update the stores databases to reflect the new pricing.
- Design and purchase new point of purchase displays and planograms.
- New marketing materials
